The Rotating Shift Production Supervisor position will assist in plant operations contributing towards supervising and coordinating all activities within the plant to meet production and control schedules.

Essential Job Functions

  • Coordinates plant activities through the planning with Plant management to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Monitors shift performance for production and quality standards.
  • Maintains existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment, when necessary, under direction of management.
  • Assist employees with work process problems.
  • Maintains preventative maintenance programs.
  • Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel.
  • Provides direction to plant personnel.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, or time as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or as required.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree and one or more years related experience or training in the field OR
  • Any combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and write the English language
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures preferred

Work Environment & Physical Responsibilities: 

Duties are performed in a loud production setting subject to extreme temperatures. Some duties may be required to be performed outside. Comfortable with repetitive movement, kneeling, crouching and stooping. Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds while bending, twisting and/or standing.
