The employee must ensure all production, quality and safety standards are followed at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
▪Fills blender with raw material 
▪Starts machine to blend formula according to formula instructions 
▪Empties product into super sacks 
▪Validates the proper cleaning of the blender and equipment
▪Follow GMPs
▪Follows process instructions on batch cards 
▪Assure lot control on batch cards 
▪Follow allergen control procedures 
▪Operates and checks sifters and magnets for foreign material detection 
▪Labels product correctly


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
▪Knowledge and experience in Food Industry is a plus but not necessary
▪Ability to work from written and/or verbal instructions
▪Ability to use a calculator to perform basic math equations for precision measurements
▪Ability to use a timer that will be provided by the company
▪Ability to use a utility knife safely that will be provided by the company
▪Ability to learn while training with an experienced Blender Operator
▪Ability to follow safety rules and requirements when working in dangerous areas or with power equipment
▪Ability to learn to accurately read and understand batch cards
▪Ability to work as a team member while under supervision of an experienced Blender Operator
▪Ability to perform other related duties needed as directed by supervisors
▪Ability to follow GMPs and other Food Safety and Quality requirements


Physical Demands:
▪Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs safely
▪Must be able to go up and down stairs if required
Quality / Production Training Needed:
▪Must complete all courses in necessary training schedule within 90 days of assuming position: during that 
time employee may perform duties under supervision of trained operator.

▪Safety P.P.E. Requirements: Proper Attire, Safety Glasses, Hearing Conservation, Ergonomics, and Steel 
Toe Shoes
▪Must complete Hearing Conservation, Hazard Risk Analysis, Fire Safety, Machine Guarding, Emergency 
Preparedness, Bloodborne Pathogens, Electrical Safety, Confined Space, Ladder/Knife Safety and Fall 
Protection training
▪Must complete Orientation prior to first day of assignment


Work Environment:
Work is performed indoors in a mixing production facility and exposed to the smell and dust of different 
raw spices as these are being blended into commercial formulas.
