Job Description and Hours

This position is responsible for the overall coordination and daily record keeping of the Personal Emergency Response System (PERS), Durable Medical Equipment (DME), and Chore services. Clients are referred from ENOA’s Case Management Division.

**Essential Job Functions:

Must report to work as scheduled on a regular and reliable basis. 

Successfully complete all required pre-service orientation and training.

Must insure confidentiality of all client information and act in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Ability to understand and comply with various laws, rules, regulations, policies and guidelines as they pertain to both ENOA and ENHSA.

Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing and be able to establish effective working relationships with many different people, ranging from potential providers, care/case managers,  directors, professionals, community representatives, other support staff and the general public.

Be a strong team player with a positive attitude toward working with staff and providers.

Must have good computer skills with preferred general knowledge of Microsoft office software and have the ability to learn other computer systems. 

Must have the ability to use office equipment such as fax, calculator, scanner, copier, printer, and other equipment as needed.

Assist in administrative duties, by ensuring policy and procedure compliance, properly maintaining established reporting and record keeping systems.

Ability to coordinate the Personal Emergency Response System (PERS), Durable Medical Equipment (DME), and Chore services by assigning contracted agencies or providers as appropriate.

Assign ENOA clients to contracted agencies or providers for Personal Emergency Response System (PERS), Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Chore services.

Follow-up with ENOA’s service providers regarding any problems and/or concerns about service being received through the Personal Emergency Response System (PERS),  Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Chore services.

Assist in ensuring agreements and contracts are maintained and kept up-to-date.

Assist with ongoing quality assurance process that is equitable for all staff and services within the programs.

Responsible for ensuring client’s monthly contribution requests are prepared and sent to clients.

Responsible for ensuring that all monthly reimbursement requests from contractors and providers are reviewed and processed.

Must have a valid driver’s license, have a car, and state required car insurance.
