Welcome to NuProduce: a provider of specialty produce solutions for food service, wholesale, hospitality, event planning, retail customers, and beyond. We are experts at sourcing the freshest fruits and vegetables available year-round.

We are currently seeking a full time Maintenance Technician to join our team, based in our Bowling Green, OH location. 

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, this individual will perform a variety of skilled mechanical maintenance and repair duties on various types of equipment in accordance with accepted standards, regulations, and procedures. Some general building maintenance duties will also be required.

Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Mon-Fri, start around 8-9am. Occasional Weekends and Night Shifts, especially at the beginning of employment.

Starting Pay: $24/hr depending on experience

Duties & Responsibilities

• Performs routine audits to ensure conformance to operational and safety requirements and standards.
• Performs corrective and preventive maintenance activities on systems to provide the continuous performance of HVAC, electricity, gas, life safety, security, and other systems required for operations.
• Proactively report and request tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
• Prepares records, reports, and other documentation related to work performed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Performs general trades work in the facility as required.
• Ensure up-to-date knowledge of operational and safety compliance, regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• TIG Welding and Millwright experience a solid asset
• Electrical experience an asset
• Knowledge of PLC, VFD and motor control is an asset
• Experience in mechanical diagnosis, repair, and fabrication
• Ability to analyze and determine cause of equipment malfunctions
• HVAC and plumbing experience is an asset
• Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
• Knows basic computer systems: MS Office, Google Sheets, Docs and Drive, Inventory and Sales System (Canopy)
• Ability to communicate effectively, helps in creating an inclusive and trust-based culture and leads the team in delivering high customer service.
• Knowledge of workplace safety, food safety, safe lifting and handling procedures
