SUMMARY
Immediate Opening. Calvin University is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians, nurse practitioners, and a physician assistant in providing high quality patient care. This .78 FTE role offers excellent work life balance with no evenings, no weekends, and reduced summer hours. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $22–$24, along with benefits including medical, vision, and dental coverage, educational cost assistance, dependent tuition coverage, and a 403B contribution. Schedule: Five (5) days per week during the academic year (September-April) when the office is open and 1-3 days per week during the summer. The office is closed for all holidays, with two weeks off every Christmas break and one week off during Calvin's spring break. We are also closed Mondays and Fridays during the summer months.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Minimum of a current active Medical Assistant (MA) Certificate in Michigan. Experience using an electronic health record system is required.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. Good organizational skills are needed.
2. Must be committed to compassionate care and confidentiality.
4. Excellent computer skills and electronic record experience are both necessary.
