We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Warehouse-C! This role is based in our facility in Preston, ID and reports to the Production Manager.

The hours are Mo - Fri from 8am until 4pm, overtime may be required. The starting rate is $21.55 per hour.

Job Summary

The Warehouse-C position is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of materials within the plant. This includes loading, unloading, packaging, labeling, and transporting raw materials and finished goods. The role ensures accurate inventory control and adheres to health and safety regulations.

Principal Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and transport materials within or near the plant or worksite using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

• Maintain inventory control, including removal of inventory from stock and returning unused inventory to stock and/or regrind.
• Accurately package and label products for shipment, including custom packaging for special products.
• Dismantle and reassemble storage crates and containers as needed.
• Report damaged products to management and ensure accurate documentation for record-keeping.
• Complete required paperwork for accurate record-keeping of materials shipped.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance checks on mobile and lifting equipment.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and external contacts such as drivers and couriers.

Requirements

• Previous forklift experience is a plus.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Knowledge of health and safety practices.

• Ability to use hand tools, saws, and strapping equipment.

• Basic knowledge of fittings such as tees, wyes, reducers, flanges, and couplings for various applications.

Working Conditions

• Predominantly in a plant environment which includes outdoor storage yard. Exposure to physical labor, including lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy objects.

• Exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise levels, and operational machinery.

• Moderate sensory attention required.

• Limited control over work pace and exposure to unexpected workflow, contributing to moderate stress levels.

• Must function in external environments across all seasons.
