MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Earned doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution
• Ten (10) years of progressively responsible higher education executive administrative experience
• Teaching experience at the college level
• Demonstrated experience leading complex academic or student services operations
• Experience in supervising senior leaders (deans/directors) and managing cross-functional teams
• Experience in developing and managing budgets in a large, multifaceted institution.
• Demonstrated commitment to student success, academic excellence, and equitable outcomes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
• Experience in a multicampus/complex college system
• Experience leading community engagement, workforce partnerships, and/or dual credit initiatives
• Demonstrated success in implementing institution-wide initiatives across multiple divisions
• Experience with facilities planning, emergency management, and campus operations.
• Experience navigating regional or specialized accreditation processes
• Evidence of collaborative leadership with faculty, staff, and external partners
• Strong record of building campus culture and developing leaders
• Collaborative spirit and the ability to build consensus
• Strategic, innovative, and forward-thinking decision-making – “students first – no excuses”
• High emotional intelligence and relationship credibility
• Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving ability
• Integrity, humility, and a commitment to Collin College’s core values

Physical Demands, Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions. Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment. Little physical effort required.
