We’re looking for a proactive, team-oriented individual to join our Sales Support & Order Processing team. This role involves working closely with internal departments to fulfill estimate requests, process orders, and support sales initiatives. You’ll collaborate daily with your teammates, sharing responsibilities and aligning priorities during morning meetings to manage work on hand efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill internal estimate requests and process custom measurements.

  • Assist with file maintenance and revisions as needed.

  • Support sales efforts and help kick off new projects.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timelines are met.

  • Receive assignments from the manager and take ownership of deadlines.

  • Work across departments to support various estimating and sales functions.

  • Adapt to using multiple systems (due to recent acquisitions), primarily working within two programs housed in Callidus.

  • Take initiative to jump in where needed and contribute to team success.

Essential Functions 

  • Secure and review all bid documents including drawings, addendums, and bid forms 

  • Produce custom quotes in accordance with department policy to support sales and design staff 

  • Attend pre-bid and new builder meetings as necessary 

  • Review plans, specifications, selections, and diagrams for accurate information 

  • Review plans, specifications, selections, and diagrams to identify product location and application requirements 

  • Request and organize all data necessary for project submittals 

  • Utilize CAD software to accurately measure and calculate net and gross quantities for bidding and procurement 

  • Create custom diagrams per material, per plan or per lot as necessary 

  • Process requests for review of material issues such as UCR (Under Construction Repairs) and material shortagesReturn findings and adjust banked data if needed 

  • Work directly with other departments to clarify all discrepancies 

  • Responsible for completing takeoffs according to department policy 

  • Adhere to project SLAs and meeting deadlines 

  • Take ownership of assigned accounts and record all work on a daily tracker 

 

Skills & Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required 

  • Digital and hard blueprint deciphering capabilities 

  • Ability to visualize 3D data from 2D information a must 

  • Strong computer skills (All Microsoft products; Excel, Word, &, Outlook) 

  • Strong math and problem-solving skills a must 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Willingness to learn new skills and to adapt to changes a must 

  • Ability and willingness to work both in a team environment and alone without constant supervision with a high-level ability to manage your own time a must 

  • Maintaining a proper attitude when work assignments change and/or other team members need assistance 

  • Ability to self-prioritize work 

  • Minimum of 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

Pay Range
$30.00-$31.00 per hour
