Hendrick Automotive Group is seeking a passionate, creative, and detail-oriented Advertising Manager to join our growing marketing team. This role will directly support the Director of Advertising and play a key role in executing creative campaigns, managing media processes, and maintaining brand excellence across our dealership group.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Management:  
  • Champion brand integrity and compliance across all creative assets, ensuring consistency in voice, visuals, and messaging. Ensure creative excellence and brand consistency across all marketing deliverables with high standards and a keen eye for detail.
  • Work alongside social media, video, and creative teams to ensure alignment across campaigns, brand messaging, and overall marketing efforts.

  • Campaign Management:
  • Manage monthly market campaigns/sales events pertaining to creative production and trafficking, copy point distribution with timely delivery to all relevant media partners.
  • Collaborate with our traditional media buying agency to support strategic media buys across markets.

  • Store Support:
  • Serve as the key liaison between production agencies and Senior Advertising Managers (SAMs) for monthly video production and related assets.
  • Work closely with SAMs to coordinate local media buys, sponsorships, and creative needs.

  • Collaborate with the admin team to ensure timely processing of invoices and accurate expense allocation.
  • Support the Director of Advertising in executing overall branding, media, content, and creative strategy initiatives.
  • Assist with high-priority, executive-led projects, requiring a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and strong time and project management skills.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, creative trends, and new tools that can enhance our brand presence and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, or media—preferably in an automotive, retail, or agency setting.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects across teams and vendors.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience working with external agencies, media buyers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Passion for brand development, storytelling, and creative excellence.
  • Ability to think both creatively and strategically
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field preferred.
