JOB TITLE: Lead Software Engineering

REMOTE TYPE: Office Worker

JOB LOCATION: 3400 W Plano Pkwy, Plano, TX 75075 [Hybrid position]

DUTIES: Design, develop, test, deploy, and troubleshoot applications with a focus on automation. Collaborate with engineers and architects to review software requirements and user stories and to

provide estimates. Create software design specifications that assess and test hardware and software interactions. Develop methodologies through the application of various programming languages. Create and execute automated test plans and strategies utilizing business requirements to validate test environments, test data, and test results. Design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results, and produce associated reporting. Utilize dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and user acceptance testing. Support applications and the software deployment process and solve configuration and environment issues. Interface with users on technical issues relating to computer programs. Participate in system and database meetings to develop modules and projects. Migrate legacy systems to modern technology stacks. Incorporate new requirements to enable a better customer and business experience. Create workflows that ease order processing via automation using BPM. Apply advanced knowledge of full software life cycle development tools including Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot frameworks, and Camunda (versions 7 and 8). Utilize Microsoft Azure, Kafka, Oracle, Postgres, Cosmos, and Cassandra. 

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronic Engineering and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation creating software design specifications that assess and test hardware and software interactions; developing methodologies through the application of various programming languages; designing and implementing code fixes, validating outcomes against expected results, and producing associated reporting; utilizing dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and user acceptance testing; supporting applications and the software deployment process and solving configuration and environment issues; applying advanced knowledge of full software life cycle development tools including Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot frameworks, and Camunda (versions 7 and 8); and utilizing Microsoft Azure, Kafka, Oracle, Postgres, Cosmos, and Cassandra.
