Geisinger offers outpatient Clinic Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. Geisinger has hundreds of community sites that allows LPNs to work to the top of their license while providing top-notch care in an ambulatory setting.Job Duties:
The Pre-Admission Testing LPN provides primary clinical support to the provider, patient and their family to assist in preparation for anesthetic care day of procedure/surgery. This work is a blend of patient contact methods; reviewing charts and either calling patients prior to surgery or sending a message through our electronic medical portal, as well as assisting the provider with in-clinic assessments. The purpose of our clinic is to ensure patient have completed any required testing, such as chest x-rays, EKGs, bloodwork, etc. for their upcoming procedure requiring anesthesia and receive all the necessary preparation education as it relates to current medications and any fasting instructions. The clinic setting is an outpatient clinic setting with clinic hours falling Monday through Friday, no nights or weekends.
This is a 40 hour weekly position; Monday through Friday; typical hours 8a - 430p (can be flexible within 7a - 530p timeframe).
Previous clinical LPN work experience is strongly preferred.
$5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible LPN candidates.
