This is a specialty position that integrates nursing science, computer science, and information science to manage and communicate data, information, knowledge, and wisdom in clinical practice to support all patient care facilities within the Geisinger enterprise. Facilitates data integration, information and knowledge to support patients, nurses, and other providers in their decision-making in all roles and settings. This support is accomplished through the use of information structures, information processing, and information technology. Will focus on the design, structure, and presentation of information and how these issues impact clinician decision-making. Functions as the primary IT clinical end-user contact for the Department.Job Duties:
