AT&T has an opening for a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Deputy supporting federal agencies on a 10-year contract, supporting the business unit in areas such as consultation with agencies like Consular Affairs a Bureau within the Department of State.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Identify areas of improvement, develop measurement tools, and interpret the information as it applies to the agency, area, or department.
- Make professional recommendations based on quantitative data analysis for improvement.
- Exercise critical thinking skills and value stream analysis to provide the customer innovative change aimed at modernization and improvement in desired customer areas, or in areas identified by the consulting team.
- Share, present, prepare documentation for multi-level customer, government, and company personnel.
- Documenting processes and procedures for or on behalf of the customer operations inclusive of generating reports and presentations on an ad hoc basis to communicate observations, purpose, and recommendations.
- Observing and identifying opportunities to reduce rework, reduce backlogs, improve efficiency, and increase capacity.
- Serve as the Deputy to the Team Lead who will coordinate efforts and provide day-to-day direction to the remaining project managers/consultants.
- Support, travel to, and assess, in collaboration with, other members of the team and customer personnel specific to sites as determined by the customer.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience with Enterprise-wide events
- Learning the current and future workflows for passport application processing.
- Develop data collection methods supportive of advanced and predictive analytics.
- Mapping process flows at each agency/center.
- Ensure compliance with any guiding documents (i.e., OIG reports, GAO reports, White House/OMB recommendations, PPT policies, etc.)
- Track implementation of recommendations across all agencies/centers.
- Design, validate, administer, and interpret survey instruments to capture additional information as needed.
- Assist with training government employees in Lean Six practices inclusive of mini-training programs, documentation, guidance, and mentorship.

Required Qualifications:
- Master Black Belt Certified.
- 5+ years’ experience with Enterprise Applications and principles.
- Completed an Enterprise-wide event.
- Bachelor’s degree minimum, Master’s preferred.
- Quantitative data analysis and interpretation skills.

Our Lean Six Master Black Belt Deputy Program Manager's earn between $79,300 - $168,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
