The Casual ID Monitor will serve as a key member of the staff that monitors patronage of the Kenneth Langone Athletics Center (KLARC). The ID Monitor will greet all individuals entering the facility and ensure safety and oversight of the venue.Job Duties:
Reports to the Manager, Recreation Services
This is a casual, part-time position
Ability to work a variety of schedules - including days, nights and weekends
Open and close the KLARC according to facility procedures.
Monitor facility access and ensure appropriate use of spaces.
Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment.
Operate lights, AV, and fitness equipment as scheduled.
Respond to emergencies and follow safety protocols.
Report maintenance, custodial, and security issues.
Greet and assist patrons professionally.
Complete incident and injury reports as needed.
Strong communication and customer service skills
Detail-oriented and reliable in completing tasks
Ability to work well independently and in team settings
Work involves minimal physical activity, such as: walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time

12.50-12.50The offer rate will be based on a review of the candidate's credentials compared to the qualifications of the position, internal equity, and our overall compensation philosophy.
This role is not budgeted for visa sponsorship at this time, all candidates must be authorized to work in the US at the time of submission of the application.
