Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a Dual Enrollment Counselor to support the mission of Grand Canyon University through GCE's Dual Enrollment department.

Position Summary/Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to service and assist with the enrollment and retention of Dual Enrollment students.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:

  • Contacting prospective students (via phone and email).
  • Processing Dual Enrollment applications.
  • Collecting applicable admissions documentation.
  • Collecting and advising to tuition requirements.
  • Providing thorough customer support and advisement.
  • Reviewing billing and roster information for partnering school districts.
  • These duties will be completed with limited supervision and prompt, disciplined work ethic, as well as customer service are a must for this role.           

Qualifications:  

  • Strongly prefer students who are available to work during the Fall and Summer breaks & local to the Phoenix area year-round.
  • Must be available to work shifts on 4 of 5 weekdays each week.
  • Must be able to work close to maximum hours each week (20 during school times, up to 40 during breaks, including Summer).
  • Willingness to provide excellent customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Willingness to work, learn, and be flexible.

Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:

  • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program.
  • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student.
  • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.

Pay Rate: Minimum Wage

Anticipated End Date: June 30, 2026
