Purpose within the Organization:

The purpose of this position is to act as a cook using the breading area of the kitchen. You will handle raw chicken, batter the chicken and load it in the fryer for cooking.

Responsibilities Related to Purpose:

  • Provide attentive and responsive customer service.
  • Required to prepare for service before the meal such as cleaning and stocking the area.
  • Required to clean and sanitize workstations, counters, steam tables and other equipment.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Fryers
  • Heating Units
  • Knives
  • Raw Chicken

Qualifications:

  • Must comply with any dress code and PPE requirements.
  • Must have a Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card and non-slip shoes.
  • Willingness to be open to learning and growing.
  • Maintain a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Must comply with all dress code requirements.
  • Ability to work over Summer preferred.

  • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
  • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
  • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.

You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
