Student Resource Office Staff


 

The Student Resource Office Staff is responsible for managing attendance data, checking pass information, editing reports, and performing general office duties. The Staff member will be available for office coverage as needed and will maintain a high level of confidentiality for reports and data.


 

Prepare Reports

Edit reports from the Student Life Deans in proper formats. Ensure that the reports are clear and smooth, use correct grammar, and maintain the content of the report. Consistently track progress and send reports out in a timely manner. Keep reports confidential.

Desk Coverage

Competently cover the Student Life receptionist desks when the receptionists are at lunch or out of the office. Courteously welcome students and check them in for appointments. Answer the phone in a professional manner and assist internal customers. Take messages from external customers and pass messages on promptly.

Data Entry Projects

Process Bible Study attendance cards weekly. Cards must be counted and ID numbers entered accurately. Manage the Video Observation Log. Add comments to FDC and record infractions as needed - paying attention to demerit levels. Update the status of each record on the log. Cancel infractions for completed videos. Update the withdrawal list weekly.

Assist with General Office Duties

Organize Judicial Review Committees, update job descriptions and tickler files, and answer the phone. Set up video chapel recheck schedules and process the forms. Take call slips to classrooms when necessary. Proof end-of-semester demerit records in Optix.

Physical Requirements and Skills

Capable of standing and walking for long periods of time, Computer Literacy, Detail-Oriented, Microsoft Office, Operating Office Equipment, Organizing, Sitting for long periods of time
