Code Compliance Internship

This Internship is offered to individuals who have completed their freshman year and have the basic mechanical aptitude and Microsoft Office Suite skills.  Pay:  $20.00/hr

American Crystal Sugar Company offers an environment that will expose a student to hands-on experience during our inter-campaign season while we perform maintenance at all five factories. The following information highlights the details of the Code Compliance Internship with American Crystal Sugar Company.

Details

• Interns will complete pressure vessel testing at each factory to ensure state compliance.

• Process includes thickness testing inside equipment while obtaining safety precautions.

• Interns may be exposed to confined spaces. 

• Efficiency in Excel is a must.

Work Schedule                                                            

• Summer business hours are typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M. Some flexibility can be allowed with advance notice.

• Average 40 hours per week during the summer

• American Crystal Sugar Company believes the Interns schooling comes first and is willing to adjust schedule for school purposes.

Important Facts

• On the Job Training allowing candidate to travel to all factories.

• Supervisors are always available to assist with problems and/or decisions.

Personal and Holiday Time

• Earn 1 hour of Earned Sick and Safe Time for every 30 hours worked (up to 48 hours per year).

• Receive pay for regularly scheduled hours on company observed holidays.
