Summary of Responsibilities:

ATC is looking for a Team Leader – Field Specialists to provide hands-on leadership and oversight for our Field Specialist team. This role ensures quality, compliance, and safety while supporting capital projects in the field.Essential Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do
Lead and Support: Supervise Field Specialists and set clear expectations for internal and external stakeholders
Ensure Quality: Conduct visual inspections of materials, document non-conformances, and maintain accurate records
Coordinate Projects: Oversee material schedules, delivery, and receipt while monitoring contractor labor and equipment resources against project plans
Drive Safety: Champion ATC’s strong safety culture by promoting safe work behaviors and addressing hazards promptly
Collaborate: Work closely with project teams to understand observation scope and reporting requirements
Travel: Expect periodic travel, outdoor work, and overnight stays to support construction activities.
What You’ll Bring
Education: Associate degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent experience
Experience:
7+ years in transmission or distribution system construction or equivalent utility experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of contract management, labor agreements, and construction of substations and transmission lines
Skills: Detail-oriented, organized, and familiar with general business processes
Other: Valid driver’s license required

The targeted base pay for this position is $134,500 to $156,900 annually.* Base pay is one component of our comprehensive total rewards package which includes an annual incentive bonus, employer-sponsored pension plan, 401(k) match, HSA contribution, life & disability insurance, health care benefits, generous time off plans, flexible work arrangements, and much more.
