As our next Sales Account Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of developing, securing, and growing market share with assigned accounts while driving new business opportunities to support strategic and tactical plans for profitability, growth, and market leadership. Your expertise in automotive sales, key account management, and customer relationship development will be crucial in driving our success and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
• Develop, secure, manage, and grow market share with assigned accounts.
• Build strong customer relationships and gain insights on market trends and JE service performance.
• Spend time on customer sites to engage at multiple levels and disciplines; negotiate effectively.
• Apply financial analysis for complex business decisions and evaluate short‑ and long‑term impacts.
• Translate VOC into JE technology roadmaps, engineering changes, or productization opportunities.
• Establish and manage Discovery Driven Planning (DDP) program and volume inputs.
• Act as liaison between customers and JE; manage Customer Scorecard activities to exceed expectations.
• Coordinate with internal resources to design, quote, and supply custom products or systems.
• Support VA/VE, Accounts Receivable, and plant profitability initiatives.
• Contribute to sales budgets and forecasting; provide exceptional customer service.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience
• Experience with electromechanical products
•3-5+ years of Automotive management and sales experience specifically with Tier 1 Automotive
•Experience calling on components e.g. powertrain, engines, transmissions
• Strong negotiation skills
• Recent experience selling to Ford, Stellantis, or GM
• Think "outside the box" consultative approach
• Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (now or in the future).
• Expertise in customer scorecard management.
• Experience influencing cross‑functional product development.
