The primary responsibilities of the Senior Network Engineer is to design, implement and maintain Data Center and WAN networks. Duties will include switch, router, firewall planning and configuration, troubleshooting, upgrading. The Network Engineer will work as part of a team which will be responsible for all aspects of the network including VPN, wireless and Network Access Control. Network Engineer will be required to participate in an on call rotation to support a 24x7 business.

Salary Range:

Up to $145k

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the health and stability of the infrastructure supporting the Data Center and WAN networks.
• Ensure all systems are performing and functioning properly. Execute the rollouts of new code to the production systems.
• Monitor and track various alerting systems and address early warning’s to mitigate a full site outage.
• Develop new methods of ensuring system reliability and constancy.
• Assist the Techdesk and Network Administrators with various internal issues and support where needed. Assist with various corporate facilities issues.
• Design and implement the network infrastructure interconnecting all remote locations. Assist with other technical needs as required.
• Provide training for Network Administrators.
• A network engineer focuses on networks including Local Area Networks (LAN), Metropolitan Area Networks (MAN), and Wide Area Networks (WAN). Included in the various network types is design, configuration, and maintenance of network devices including routers, firewalls, switches, and other network devices.​

• Perform other duties as required and assigned by manager and upper management.

Job Requirements

• Should have an expert level understanding of LAN/WAN technologies, and should be skilled at configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Must have expert level knowledge of OSPF, BGP, and STP.
• Needs experience with VPN connections including IPSec, and SSL VPN.
• Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, Citrix Netscaler, AVI Load Balancer, F5, Linux and SONiC
• Experience with Public Cloud, GCP, AWS, etc
• Must have good communication skills, and be able to work on a team or individually in an extremely fast paced environment.
• Must be self-motivated, and willing to take on a variety of projects.
• 10+ years experience in Networking required
