Summary

The Auxiliary Services Graduate Assistant is a dynamic position within the University's Auxiliary Services
department, primarily responsible for providing support in various operational areas, including food
services, mailroom, bookstore, vending, and the Student Union Office (ID center). The individual in this role will collaborate closely with department staff, vendors, and university stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective delivery of auxiliary services to students, faculty, and staff.

Essential Functions

Operational Support

• Provide hands-on support for the ID Office assisting with the tasks such as ID printing, orientation planning, parking management system, and meal plan management.

Customer Service

• Deliver exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Respond promptly and courteously to inquiries, concerns, and feedback, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.

Administrative Tasks

• Perform administrative duties, including data entry, record-keeping, and report generation, to support the efficient operation of Auxiliary Service areas. Assist with the preparation and distribution of communication materials related to auxiliary services.

Inventory Management

• Assist in monitoring inventory levels for ID services. Coordinate restocking efforts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure the availability of supplies.

Event Support

• Provide support for special events and activities hosted by the university, including setup and assistance with event logistics.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in any field of study.

• Great customer service and communication skills.
