Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands.  Please remember that this range is the starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.

What You Will Be Doing:

The product owner’s primary responsibility is to convey a vision for the product and work with their product development team to see that vision through. Serves as the voice of the customer and ensures the product is aligned with the end users’ needs. The product owner is an expert in the use of the product and serves as the primary liaison for the product with internal customers and potentially external vendors. Detail-oriented, articulate, analytical, a big-picture thinker, and able to relate to and communicate well with technical and non-technical people.

What We're Looking For:

• Certification for Product Ownership preferred but not required.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, technical understanding of products, and knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), JIRA and Confluence.
• Comfortable working with large and small groups.
• Proficient presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Accurate and precise attention to detail.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
