The Student Worker for Enrollment Management performs duties that involve the following (as guided by the long and short-range goals of Liberty University): 1) Assist the administrative staff with hiring efforts for the call center departments within Enrollment Management.; 2) Provide coverage to the front desk of our building – greet guests/visitors when they enter and connect them to where they need to go; 3) Assist in managing the inventory of our office supplies and supply needs for employees working in office 4) Assist with helping ship equipment out to remote employees; 5) Miscellaneous projects as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain the Hiring inbox by emailing applicants, scheduling interviews, keeping the applicant tracker document up-to-date.

2. Assist in creating folders to be sent out to new hires with their equipment

3. Assist in shipping out equipment for new hires when needed

4. Greet guests and connect them with the right department/individual.

5. Maintain the supply closet and deliver supplies as needed.

6. Proactively look for any maintenance issues that need to be address around the office and inform administration. These items include: patching and painting, cube repairs, moving furniture, lighting needs, pest control, room temperature, etc.

7. Assist with other tasks as needed.

  • Handle materials, reach overhead, kneel or stoop in order to conduct business.

  • Regularly lift 10 or fewer pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work Environment

The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is a climate-controlled call center office setting.  It is well lighted and the noise level is moderate to loud.
