The Attendant Care Worker delivers one-one-one, interactive, community-based mental health services to children and adults utilizing a strengths-based, and skill building philosophy.

Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinates with the client’s Case Manager and/or Therapist to facilitate the treatment plan outlined for the client.
  • Provides one-one-one interactions in the community and the home to assist the client develop skills that enhance overall functioning of the client.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office programs.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years of age and at least three years older than the youth.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Two years’ experience working with adults or children in a health-related field.

REQUIRED LICENSE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Within 30 days of employment the employee must have completed Attendant Care on-line training, KHS on-line training. 
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance and a dependable vehicle.
