About the Role:

The general maintenance support technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks and providing general support for the maintenance department. The role involves assisting with repairs, preventative maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of equipment, facilities, and systems. This entry-level position requires willingness to learn, attention to detail, and the ability to work under the supervision of senior maintenance personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks on packaging equipment, building systems.
• Conduct basic repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Help troubleshoot and repair minor issues related to mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Provide general support to maintenance team.
• Provide other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What you'll need:

• 2 years of production maintenance preferred
• Mechanical maintenance knowledge preferred
• Understanding of electrical automation preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to work with a team and alone
• Willing to learn and adapt as needed
• Trouble shooting and problem solving skills
• Bilingual preferred.
