We’re searching for an experienced Sorting and Spreading Inspector to support our production team and reinforce our reputation as a leader in manufacturing nutraceutical products. 

Time: 36-48 hours/week

Employment Type: Full-time (Non-Exempt)

SHIFT: 5am-5pm Monday – Wednesday/Thursday every other week

PAY: $15-$16/hour

Start Date: ASAP

Primary Purpose: 

The Sorting and Spreading Inspector is responsible the inspection of encapsulated Nutraceutical products including seals, coloring and shape of capsules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow all GMPs and SOPs and refer to them daily.
• Follow all procedures that apply to the operation and completes documentation entries in an accurate and timely manner.
• Sort and spread encapsulated products.
• Efficiently inspect encapsulated products for variations in seals, color, shape, and size of capsules.
• Document weights, batch numbers, lot numbers, and quality checks.
• Keeps records and logs current as required.
• Accurately complete all paperwork, including log sheets, machine reports, batch records, and clean-up logs as required.
• Perform efficient clean ups within GMP/SOP regulations with quick turn-around time.
• Maintain good housekeeping by keeping area clean and sanitary.
• Follow correct gowning procedures for each entry into production areas and clean rooms.
• PPE equipment will be used appropriately and at appropriate times.
• Must be flexible and willing to change schedule to meet production needs as well as cross-train with other departments as needed.
•  Follow all safety rules regarding the manufacturing area and in production line support.

Knowledge/Competencies/Skill Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing experience and work in a GMP regulated industry preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Windows navigation and data entry.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to read, interpret and execute written instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, combine units of measure, and calculate fractions and decimals.
• Ability to solve practical problems.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (verified through E-Verify).
