- Ensure proper patient identity by checking two forms of identification per hospital policy, and confirming physician orders.

Minimum Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
- Associates degree from a two-year college or technical school in Ultrasound or higher.
Required License/Certifications/Registrations
Must be a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and RVT registered within 6 months of hire date.
Current BLS card within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation, whichever comes first. Acceptable courses are American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.

- 1 year clinical experience post-graduation

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of Ultrasound diagnostic techniques, treatment and education.
Strong skills in using software such as Excel, Word, EMR Systems, etc.
Medical terminology.
Superb organization skills, follow-through and attention to detail
