Company:

The General Manager is the senior leader of Wasatch North’s flexible packaging operation, with full accountability for Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain. This role oversees a highly automated manufacturing system producing spouted pouch and tear-top packaging.

Operating with VP-level scope, the GM sets and executes site strategy, owns full P&L performance, and ensures safe, efficient, and scalable operations. This leader builds a high-performing team and drives results aligned with Wasatch North’s values: Responsiveness, Quality, Integrity, and Transparency.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Strategy

• Lead all site operations to deliver safety, quality, service, and cost performance
• Drive continuous improvement and operational scalability

Financial Leadership

• Own full P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and margin improvement
• Optimize productivity, cost structure, and asset utilization

Leadership & Culture

• Build and develop a high-performing leadership team
• Drive accountability, engagement, and succession planning

Cross-Functional Alignment

• Partner with commercial and R&D teams to meet customer and business needs
• Lead readiness for new products, capacity expansion, and process improvements

Compliance & Risk

• Ensure regulatory, safety, and food quality compliance
• Mitigate operational risks and uphold company values

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of manufacturing leadership experience with P&L ownership
• Proven success in automated, high-volume operations
• Experience scaling operations and driving improvement initiatives
• Flexible packaging or regulated industry experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
