The Lopata group in the Louisiana State University Department of Chemistry is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher in computational attosecond dynamics. The Postdoc will perform computational chemistry simulations of attosecond electron currents resulting from interactions with laser pulses. This project involves methods and code development, as well as applied simulations.
Job Duties:
75% Perform computational research, including code development and applied simulations. Dissemination of research via presentations and publications.
25% Mentor graduate and undergraduate students performing related research.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in computational chemistry or physics, or a closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise in electronic structure methods development, parallel programming, and ultrafast dynamics and spectroscopy.
