Job Description:

Facility Services is the entity that maintains the buildings, utility systems and grounds for Louisiana State University. The Customer Service Center staff plays a vital role in coordinating the activities of the staff with the campus community. This position could be asked to work overtime as needed. This position is vital to support the LSU EOC. This position is responsible for the data integrity in the CMMS and workday system in regards to creating work orders, invoice processing, and asset management.

Job Responsibilities:

Work Flow: The position is responsible for assisting the department in administering and managing the FAMIS system and its various functions ensuring the smooth work flow between departments. Ensure accurate daily data input of information into the system. The Representative must be able to scan and electronically attach files containing additional information, such as specifications, diagrams, instructions, etc. to work orders. -35%

Customer Service: Assist campus community by setting up work orders for crews and researching issues within the system. Training fellow employees to use the CMMS. Query the CMMS database and generate reports as requested by the Facility Services Administration and Managers. Properly assign work orders to the correct working crew and notify as needed.-25%

Budgets: Ensures correct accounting and billing types on Work Orders within CMMS.-25%

Effective Communication: Answer calls, help patrons at the front desk, respond to emails, and other duties as assigned-15%

Additional Information:

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THE FOLLOWING SHIFTS:
Saturday & Sunday - 6:30AM-10PM
Monday - 11:30AM-10:00PM

Minimum Qualifications:

Two years of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.
