Provide administrative and financial services to the two Cost-Recovery Centers (CRC) of the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (MIE); namely the Advanced Manufacturing and Machining Facility (AMMF) and the Materials Manufacturing Testing and Evaluation Facility (MMTF).
45% Financial Services: Work with the CRC (AMMF, MMTEF) personnel to develop the annual rate sheets and cost recovery center documentation. Keep track of expenses and revenues and maintain related documentation and archives. Track financial data of the cost center to identify areas to improve efficiency. Issue invoices to customers as soon as work-orders are complete and follow-up until they are paid. Handle student-worker payroll. Manage the cost center finances and brief the Department Chair quarterly.
45% Administrative Services: Maintain inventory of assets (machinery, instruments, tools, parts) and their condition and make arrangements for maintenance as needed. Make arrange for personnel training. Handle appointments and maintain schedule of student workers engaged by the CRCs. Maintain a record and keep track of progress of work-orders and update customers as to the progress of their work-orders. Act as the POC for customers and schedule/coordinate meetings between customers and the technical personnel of the CRCs. This requires working closely with the technical personnel of the CRCs.
10% Performs other tasks assigned depending upon the needs of the department and assist with CRC procurement as needed.
Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
Three or more years experience. Expertise/experience in administration and finances as related to the CRC needs.
Cash Handling - This position has access to/directly handles cash. Financial history/credit check required per FASOP HR-04.
