Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Operations, the Administrative Services Manager for the Student Health Center (SHC) is a key member of the central office staff, serves as the Human Resource Originator and Student Employment Partner, and provides high-level administrative support for the Student Health Center.

Refine and improve search and hiring processes
The Administrative Services Manager will implement hiring and search processes developed by the Division of Student Affairs. The Administrative Services Manager will improve internal processes, updating job descriptions, screening potential candidates, creating a candidate-centric experience, and serving as the primary point of contact for applicants.
Cultivate strategic relationships
LSU is a highly relational place. The Administrative Services Manager will cultivate strategic relationships with key staff within the department and the Division of Student Affairs. In strengthening these relationships, there is an opportunity to improve communication and the overall work environment and to facilitate better and more consistent processes.

ABOUT THE DIVISION OF STUDENT AFFAIRS PRIORITIES:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative - 45%
Provides high-level administrative leadership support and oversight for strategic initiatives within the Student Health Center. Manages complex calendar priorities, executive communication, and internal coordination on behalf of senior leadership. Establishes administrative process for document management, records retention, and communication protocols to enhance operational clarity and improve organizational responsiveness. Exercises discretion in managing confidential and sensitive matters. Supports executive-led advanced-level projects and logistics.
Human Resources - 40%
Provides oversight of all human resource operations across all departments of the Student Health Center as the primary Human Resource Originator and Student Employment Partner, working closely with divisional HR Analyst and HRM talent and compensation partners. Serves as the search administrator responsible for high-impact recruiting and search coordination, including position advertisement, candidate communication and screening, virtual, and on-campus interview logistics. Oversee the onboarding program with Our Lady of the Lake Health, LSU Health, and SHC Quality Improvement & Compliance Manager to ensure a seamless experience.
Quality Control - 10%
Establishes and enforces quality standards in every aspect of human resources and administrative outputs, including administrative tasks, customer services, and communication. Ensures compliance with institutional policies, accreditation, labor regulations, partnership policies, and confidentiality. Serves as a point of escalation for sensitive personnel matters and collaborates with HRM and senior leadership to resolve them appropriately.
Other Duties as Assigned - 5%
Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director, Senior Associate Director, and other senior leadership. This includes but is not limited to efforts that support broad division/institution efforts, including engaging in in-service opportunities for the division, and other special projects.

Due to the nature of the position and/or position responsibilities, this position shall be subject to drug/alcohol testing in accordance with University Policy Statement 67.
In accordance with University Policy Statement 18, this position is considered essential and may be required to report or stay on campus in the event of an emergency or closure.
May be required to work occasional nights and weekends.
