Data Strategy Analysts play a key role in developing and implementing data-driven strategies that help ensure project goals align with business objectives. Effective data strategy analysts contribute by analyzing and leveraging data to drive decision-making, enhance overall business performance and shape strategies around data and analytics that move the needle forward.
Job Responsibilities:
Analysis: Manage PMO supported data projects including business and data processes, security and reporting. Conduct in-depth analysis on business data, identifying trends, patterns, and key insights that influence decision-making. Provide actionable recommendations based on data findings. Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data across the organization. Implement best practices for data governance to maintain high-quality data standards. Ability to leverage requirements to drive the design or review of test cases, process change requests, and manage a project’s scope, acceptance, installation and deployment. (30%)
Support: The Data Strategy Analyst serves as a subject matter expert on the data process, tasks, and the use of data and business intelligence applications among operational units and college and department users. Collaborate with leadership and business stakeholders to define and shape data strategies that support business goals, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experiences. Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units, ensuring that data strategies align with operational needs and objectives. Identify areas for improvement in data collection, management, and analysis processes, and work towards optimizing them to support better decision-making. (30%)
Reporting: Conduct requirements analysis for viability and integration of a potential solution. Create and maintain reports and visualizations that clearly communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other important metrics for leadership and department teams. Conduct research to understand market trends, data strategies, and industry benchmarks to ensure that our data approach stays efficient, optimized, and innovative. (30%)

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience.
