We are seeking a skilled Radar Technician to join our growing onsite team supporting one of our global clients. This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to work with some of the most innovative radar and RF technologies in the world. The Radar Technician will provide critical onsite support in a lab environment—analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues to ensure smooth operation of radar systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support hardware prototype bring-up, RF testing, tuning, and debugging with minimal supervision.

  • Set up and maintain RF test infrastructure, including 80 GHz far-field and near-field anechoic chambers, and operate test equipment such as 80 GHz VNAs.

  • Assemble and disassemble mechanical structures, PCBs, and high-performance RF antennas/structures operating up to 81 GHz.

  • Execute RF tests, calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.

  • Develop and document test procedures to ensure consistency and repeatability.

  • Conduct first-level analysis of test results, generate summaries, and visualize data to support findings.

  • Perform root-cause analysis of hardware or test issues during failure analysis.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in Electrical Engineering or a related field, plus 3–5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and hands-on training.

  • Proven experience in RF testing, debugging, tuning, calibration, and troubleshooting.

  • Strong ability to document and communicate test results clearly and effectively.

  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global team environment with limited supervision.

  • Proactive approach to equipment maintenance, lab organization, and cleanliness.

Salary Range

$39,976.00 - $63,120.00 USD (Salary)
  • Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.
  • Further, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position. Where an applicant or employee is placed on this range will depend and be contingent on objective, documented work-related considerations like education, experience, certifications, licenses, preferred qualifications, among other factors.
