Director of Professional Revenue Cycle - Corporate Professional Billing (Hybrid)101 Truman Medical CenterAre you a master of revenue flow with a passion for leading high-performing teams? Do spreadsheets, medical codes, and streamlined operations make your heart sing? We’re looking for an Operations Manager to join our dynamic Physician Practice Solutions team and lead the charge on all things professional side revenue cycle.
This is your opportunity to take the wheel on billing operations, coding accuracy, charge capture, and patient accounting—while inspiring a talented crew of managers, supervisors, and coordinators to do their best work.
You’ll partner with the VP of HIM & Revenue Cycle to shape strategy, set goals, and drive results across multiple specialty clinics. If you love big-picture planning but also get a thrill from fixing the details, you might just be our kind of leader.
Lead and coordinate a team of revenue cycle pros (managers, supervisors, coordinators—you name it!)
Own the day-to-day operations of billing and coding in multi-specialty clinics
Optimize workflows and champion accuracy in charge capture, claims, and AR processes
Work closely with leadership to set and hit goals that improve performance and patient outcomes
Stay sharp on payer rules, government programs, and ever-changing regulations
Be the go-to person for everything from coding best practices to system reports
Cultivate a collaborative environment with IT, finance, clinical teams, and more
Must-Haves:
A Bachelor’s Degree in any field (yes, really!)—we value your critical thinking and communication skills
5+ years in medical billing (bonus points for multi-specialty experience) and 3+ years in a leadership role
In-depth knowledge of insurance/payer rules, billing requirements, and government reimbursement
Tech-savvy, with hands-on experience in medical billing systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office
Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding principles
A leader who listens, motivates, manages performance, and leads by example
Able to build positive relationships with everyone—from team members to external partners
Bonus Points For:
A Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Experience managing cross-functional teams or working in large healthcare organizations
You’ll be part of a forward-thinking organization that understands the value of great leadership behind the scenes. Your work ensures clinicians get paid, patients get clear bills, and the whole operation runs like a well-oiled machine. Plus, we offer a collaborative, supportive culture where your ideas actually matter.
