POSITION TITLE: Title Manager

LOCATION: Burbank, CA


ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Title Manager may be part of a team dedicated to one client or client agnostic. This role will be accountable for the delivery of assigned title/projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality. This person must be able to communicate with all departments to ensure deadlines are being met and report back to upper management with the status of projects. This role will have an emphasis on anime.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    End-to-end accountability over delivery of assigned title / project on time, within budget, and to required quality. 
•    Manage large localization projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, high quality, and adherence to budget constraints.
•    Improve localization pipeline in collaboration with leadership, Localization, Operations and Product teams.
•    Monitor localization service quality and ensure that continuous process improvement efforts are planned and executed by internal teams or vendors.
•    Anticipate risks and devise mitigation strategies.
•    Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders globally across all levels and functions.
•    Understand ongoing initiatives and tasks within the team, contributing to discussions and decision making.
•    Facilitate kickoffs with relevant stakeholders.
•    Monitor client reporting to identify trends and issues.
•    Capable of comprehensively speaking to ongoing portfolio of work.
•    Accountability over billing accuracy for projects and/or titles.
•    Provide informal training for juniors and/or pooled projects.
•    Other duties, projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•    2-5 years’ experience across client services/order management. Relevant work experience in Localization, preferably as a Localization Producer or Project Manager in entertainment, gaming or marketing. 
•    Knowledge of end-to-end post-production, including marketing campaign execution.
•    Ability to meticulously review orders, documentation, and data throughout end-to-end order management process.
•    Agile in adapting to plans to overcome unexpected challenges and meet deadlines; flexibly adapts own personal response to change.
•    Possess learning agility, self-awareness, and accountability; seeks and is open to feedback; applies insights to cultivate personal growth and development
•    High level of attention to detail for ensuring quality and accuracy in orders.
•    Strong collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork. Experience working with cross-functional teams both locally and globally. 
•    Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
•    Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
•    Skilled in escalation management and crisis resolution.
•    Comfortable and skilled in working with data, with ability to effectively interpret, synthesize and integrate complex data into systems.
•    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.


NICE TO HAVE:
•    Experience with localization platforms, file formats, project management tools and databases.
•    Experience with Machine Translation or other emerging AI concepts.
•    Linguistic understanding of multiple languages.

This role is based in Burbank, CA and the base pay range for this role is $72,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually. Actual amounts will vary depending on education, skills, experience, and geographic location.
