We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) to join our behavioral health team. In this role, you'll work alongside physicians to deliver direct care to patients with serious and persistent mental illnesses. You’ll assess, diagnose, treat, and educate patients, helping them manage both their mental and physical health.

As an APRN, you’ll deliver expert, compassionate care to individuals with serious and persistent mental illnesses. Working closely with physicians and a collaborative care team, you’ll assess patients, diagnose conditions, create treatment plans, and provide both physical and psychiatric care. This role also includes occasional on-call duties and coverage beyond your primary area when needed. You’ll bring advanced skills in mental health, health promotion, patient education, and medical management—making a meaningful impact every day.
Qualifications & Skills
Master’s in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program
Active RN license in Missouri and Nurse Practitioner certification
Specialty certification (as required by Missouri Board of Nursing)
Active Collaborative Practice Agreement
Current BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification
3–5 years of clinical experience (preferably in mental health or primary care)
Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
Leadership ability and team-oriented mindset
Excellent communication skills across diverse populations
Commitment to working with individuals experiencing serious mental illness
Ability to manage challenging patient behavior with empathy and professionalism
