The Neuropsychology Tech provides neuropsychological evaluations for children and adolescents. This person will demonstrate continued competence in psychological assessment as evidenced by accurate administration and scoring. The Technician will work with a neuropsychologist, a psychologist, or an investigator as appropriate to provide diagnostic assessments and treatment recommendations.
1. Administers and scores cognitive, achievement, and behavioral/emotional tests and records observations of patient behavior
2.Accurately enters test scores in a timely manner.
3. Interprets findings and communicates the results to supervisor.
4. Reviews and ensures timeliness, accuracy, and availability and security of information
5. Trouble-shoots difficult testing situations and administer tests that are developmentally appropriate for the child
6. Contributes to written reports, including writing observations of patient behaviors and entering test scores in a template
7. Reports abnormal or concerning results from psychological evaluations to supervisor.
8. Ensures accurate and responsible analysis and interpretation of psychological testing.
9. Maintains and expands professional expertise by completing appropriate continuing education.
10. Other duties as assigned.
