What You'll Do:
Ensuring uptime of critical applications and systems in a fast-paced, high-pressure, low-latency and high-performance environment
Troubleshoot AWS Cloud and on-prem applications, software and hardware issues
Develop and maintain Linux systems, with a strong focus on automation for systems administration and operational tasks
Design, implement, and maintain high-availability and scalable infrastructure in AWS utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Manage and optimize AWS-based solutions using a wide range of services
Implement, maintain and deploy configuration management systems
Build and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines with GitLab
Create, implement, and analyze alerting and logging for applications and systems
Develop and maintain documentation on technical procedures
Occasionally participate in an on-call rotation to support team needs
Communicate with management on the status of projects and problem resolution efforts, providing escalation as required
What We're Looking For:
Degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 5–8 years of experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge in AWS, with experience managing and optimizing services using best practices (EKS, MSK, Redshift, RDS, EC2, Route 53, SES, SSM, KMS, IAM)
Proficiency in containerization systems and tools (EKS, Docker, ECS, Fargate, Argo)
Experience with configuration management systems (Puppet, Ansible, Chef)
Experience with IaC (Terraform)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab, Github, Jenkins)
Proficient in monitoring and logging platforms (Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, CloudWatch)
Strong to expert level proficiency in Linux Operating Systems (5 -10+ years)
Deep expertise in Java and bash (5-7+ years)
Working knowledge of Python, Go, JS, or Ruby (5-7+ years)
Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and security best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Good knowledge of databases (Postgres, MySQL, DynamoDB, InfluxDB)

The base pay range for this role is $78,000 - $135,100. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth.
