The Senior Business Analyst role within the Global Index Business Services team plays a critical role in driving organizational success by analyzing complex business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and translating business requirements into actionable solutions to drive the growing Index Business.
This position serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, operational and technical teams, ensuring strategic initiatives align with operational goals. The Senior Business Analyst leverages analytical skills and industry best practices to identify and document business requirements while recommending process enhancements that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires a seasoned professional who can handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality execution and delivering results-oriented outcomes.

Education, Certification and Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business analysis, product development, consulting services, or related domains.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Operations, or a similar discipline.
- Professional certification preferred (IIBA-CBAP, PMI-PBA, CAP, or similar).
Skills Needed:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, facilitate cross-functional coordination, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong critical-thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail with focus in producing high-quality, accurate, and data-driven deliverables.
- Highly organized with effective time management skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL and Excel; business intelligence and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of database management and data visualization techniques.
- Knowledge of financial analysis, business case development, and risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Client-facing experience.
