Job Overview:
AMB Sports + Entertainment is seeking enthusiastic, detail-oriented individuals to assist with operational execution components at our Major Events. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in event management and operations while being a part of some of the most exciting World-Class events in Atlanta.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Fan Experience Event Day Operations Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless event experience for our guests. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Pre-Event Signage Deployment: Assist with the setup of exterior and interior signage to ensure fans are guided efficiently throughout the stadium.
Pre-Event Exterior + Interior Checks: Conduct inspections of various areas to confirm stadium readiness and identify any last-minute needs before gates open.
Monitoring Operational Flow: Actively observe and address lines at entry points, concessions, and other fan interaction areas to optimize wait times and improve the overall event experience.
Tracking and Reporting Fan Insights: Gather and document observations and feedback during events, including bottlenecks, signage effectiveness, and operational successes, sound, etc. to provide actionable insights for enhancing future Major Events.
Additional Event-Day Responsibilities: Provide on-the-ground support throughout Major Events for various operational tasks, focusing on enhancing the fan journey and ensuring the event runs smoothly from start to finish.
Mid-Event Signage Swaps: Transition signage between ingress and egress to direct fan flow as they arrive and depart.
Rideshare Traffic Control: Support traffic management efforts by guiding rideshare vehicles to appropriate locations for fan pick-up/drop-off.
MARTA Egress Assistance: Work with MARTA staff to manage crowd flow and direct fans to public transit options during event departure.
Additional Event-Day Responsibilities: Assist with various operational tasks as needed to ensure the event runs smoothly from start to finish.
Requirements:
Must be at least a college sophomore maintaining a 3.0 GPA
Must be available to work weekends and late evenings, as event schedules vary.
Physical labor, including lifting and moving event materials, is required.
Ability to work well as part of a team and maintain a positive, proactive attitude in fast-paced environments.
Strong communication skills when interacting with fans, teammates, and staff at all levels.
A commitment to contributing to the overall guest experience at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
