Job Responsibilities:

• Represent Atlanta United’s core values and act as an ambassador for the club.
• Report directly to the Head of International Recruitment and Player Development.
• Attend all Atlanta United home matches when not traveling for scouting purposes.
• Scouting of soccer matches at the professional and youth levels both domestically and internationally utilizing a given set of performance indicators to identify players that fit the Atlanta United profile.
• Contribute to a database of player and match reports, maintaining a short list of players in every position.
• Provide and present reports utilizing data, video and subjective analysis on individual players where applicable.
• Maintain an up-to-date calendar of events for scouting purposes.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with peers and colleagues domestically and internationally.
• Have the ability to work flexible and nontraditional hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Required to travel domestically as well as internationally.
• Must keep information confidential and maintain accountability.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 year of previous experience scouting at the professional level.
• Preferred: 3+ years of Scouting experience in Major League Soccer at the professional level
• Preferred- International Scouting experience
• Ability to work both independently as well as part of a broader team in a collaborative environment.
• Must have excellent organizational and time management skills and an attention to detail.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and planning skills a necessity.
• A positive attitude; incorporating integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.
