Responsibilities:
Lead the calculation and analysis of mass properties for advanced aerospace systems.
Develop and validate mass properties models and simulations.
Inventory and weigh aircraft.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Review and approve mass properties documentation and reports.
Lead and participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
Manage project timelines and ensure milestones are met.
Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate mass properties into broader project goals.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
6+ years of relevant experience.
Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
General knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
Exposure to Computer Aided Engineering tools.
Experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering.
Knowledge of industry standard aerospace principles, to include, but not limited to, parametric design, model-based definition, fundamentals of flight mechanics.
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, US Department of Defense and/or US Military.
Essential Functions:
Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
May require lifting up to 25 lbs occasionally.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
Work in an office, lab, hangar, or hybrid environment.
May be required to occasionally climb stairs or ladders.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $108,496.89 - $149,183.22. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
