Job Description:

GENERAL PURPOSE:


To review RFP’s, contracts, and agreements evaluating the risks involved and processing through ensuring compliance with terms and conditions as well as ensuring proper compliance for licensing and insurance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviews RFP Packages - including preparing documents/bond requests/insurance certificates/addendums

  • Reviews non-standard contracts on awarded jobs - including preparing documents/bond requests/insurance certificates/addendums

  • Reviews non-standard service contracts - including preparing documents/bond requests/insurance certificates/addendums

  • Reviews insurance requirements and order certificates of insurance

  • Reviews purchase orders and standard mark - up agreements

  • Prepares pre-qualification/vendor packages - pre-qualifications to receive bid packages and/or vendor packages to be set up as Vendor

  • License Compliance Information - reviews and prepares documents for obtaining or renewing licenses

  • BidNet and other site Monitoring/Lead Generation

  • Fill out Bids on those sites. Check to see if Signage is part of this Bid.

  • Isolate and extract all pertinent information for only our scope of work (separate pdf's for Estimating)

  • Create a y drive file under LHM Arts Center with all documents.

  • Download bid forms.

  • Show RFI due dates, Bid Due Date, mandatory walk thru, contact info..etc

  • Check CCIP or OCIP, get this as well as contract verbiage to Risk Dept 

  • Check for Bid Bonds, Performance Bonds and get them underway with Fred A Moreton.

  • Prevailing Wage assessment


MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs subcontractor forms set up and maintenance on Google sites

  • Prepares safety packages/information

  • Performs other functions as necessary or assigned


NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS:

  • Helps other employees to understand the contracts and contract terms and conditions – this type of detail helps PM's/Rep's understand how and why they need to address items related to contracts/billings etc.

  • Negotiate with customers to help them understand concessions

  • Obtain contracts/PO's/agreements in the overall best interest of protection YESCO's rights

  • Helps salespeople understand and resolve issues related to contracts/PO's/agreements


TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:

A business related degree, and at least ten years of applicable experience (in areas such as experience in construction and contract management) or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

 

  • Well-developed and highly effective listening, oral and written communication skills

  • The ability to maintain professional demeanor and be patient while dealing with customers and other employees

  • The ability to review complex and involved RFP’s, contracts, purchase orders and agreements considering risk and compliance issues

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Construction law coursework is preferred
