Purpose of Role: The Laborer / Pattern Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and organization of wood patterns used in the casting process within the foundry. This role ensures patterns are built to specification, stored properly, and available for production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pattern Management: Maintain an organized inventory of patterns by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock.  Pull, organize, and prepare pattern equipment.
• Prepare Product: Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product. Properly prepare product being shipped, whether packaged in box, on a skid, or in a crate based on size, bulk, and quantity, keeping in mind safety, weight, size, potential damage, and customer domestic/export requirements.
• Load & Unload Trucks: Load/unload trucks, inside and outside, using pallet jacks, powered industrial trucks or overhead jib cranes, in a manner preventing damage and in compliance with good safety practices.
• General Maintenance: Maintain material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs. Perform daily maintenance and housekeeping of equipment and work areas, including all designated distribution storage locations, and submit recommendations with respect to improvements essential to effective operations.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with warehouse operations
• Industrial manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience using forklift & crane
