Senior Account Executive:
Position Summary:
Contribute to the performance of the office by providing day to day administrative support to the Professional Liability sales units, while managing and growing your assigned book of business.
Required Qualifications:
Four year college degree (or equivalent in work experience in the insurance industry, administration or related field)
Property and Casualty Insurance license and valid driver’s license
Typing 40-50 words per minute
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Responsibilities:
Manage and grow your assigned agents and book of business while assisting the team at the same time Potential but not mandatory
Oversee renewal notices 120-90 days prior to policy expiration for assigned agents and accounts
Process new/renewal submissions per the Account Executive/Producer’s instructions:
Update and Maintain agent and client detail in AIM and IR
Update and/or maintain submission log, while marketing, quoting
Maintain the file in IR with the most current communication trail
Facilitate direct communication with Agents, Insureds, and Underwriters via meetings, email, telephone, and fax
Preparing and typing indications along with Policy Comparisons as needed
Oversee Confirmation of Insurer Binding notices:
Request to bind to Carrier
Complete necessary Compliance Information – SLT and Affidavits
Invoicing
Premium Finance Agreements as requested
Follow up for policies from Carriers (PPCO)
Oversee Binders & Invoices, Policies, Endorsement Requests, Original Applications, and Certificates of Insurance
Oversee all account needs from negotiating with underwriters, following up on details with agents including but not limited to negotiating internally for attention to specific coverage maters
Support the team by assisting when others are out and notifying team members when you will be unavailable
Maintain Continuing Education for license and professional designation(s)
