At Entrust, we’re shaping the future of identity centric security solutions. From our comprehensive portfolio of solutions to our flexible, global workplace, we empower careers, foster collaboration, and build solutions that help keep the world moving safely.
Headquartered in Minnesota, Entrust is an industry leader in identity-centric security solutions, serving over 150 countries with cutting-edge, scalable technologies. But our secret weapon? Our people. It’s the curiosity, dedication, and innovation that drive our success and help us anticipate the future.
We are currently seeking qualified, motivated talent to mature and execute Entrust’s Disaster Recovery (DR) Program. You will oversee DR readiness work across all functional and product teams and ensure annual plan and testing requirements are met. You will be called on to provide complex project leadership between technology groups and other company business units, emphasizing regular communication with all stakeholders. You will be expected to interact with various support groups for the purpose of planning, directing, controlling, and maintaining the DR Program. This is a fast-paced, deliverables-driven role requiring strong prioritization skills to manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
You’ll partner with teams across IT and the business to keep services recoverable, coordinate testing, and provide clear visibility into readiness.
- Own disaster recovery readiness for a portfolio of production applications/services, including recovery strategies, dependencies, and required evidence.
- Lead cross-functional governance to drive timely decisions and ongoing adherence to DR requirements.
- Maintain service criticality and recovery targets by leading impact assessments (AIA/BIA inputs), keeping inventories and dependencies current, and driving clear ownership for gaps.
- Build and manage integrated DR delivery plans and roadmaps, balancing risk, deadlines, and capacity across application, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
- Plan and lead DR exercises and tests (scope, success criteria, execution, communications) and ensure follow-up actions are tracked to closure.
- Maintain DR standards, documentation, and evidence (templates, runbooks, test plans) and perform periodic health checks to improve recoverability and support audit readiness.
- Provide clear, executive-ready reporting on readiness status, risks, decisions needed, test outcomes, and compliance posture.
- Support major incidents by coordinating recovery stakeholders, documenting lessons learned, and incorporating improvements into future DR plans and tests.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional technology initiatives (project/program management), including delivery planning, dependency management, and stakeholder governance; strong understanding of processes, risks, and controls.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven ability to drive delivery without direct authority; strong facilitation and conflict resolution.
- Familiarity with IT terms and technologies related to disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Demonstrated ability to produce clear, structured documentation (runbooks, plans, test results, executive summaries).
- Experience with application architecture, middleware, and technology platform architectures (cloud, on-premises, and hybrid).
- Experience partnering with Risk/Compliance/Internal Audit to produce control evidence (e.g., response plans, approvals, remediation proof).
- Ability to define and manage KPIs/KRIs and communicate to senior audiences.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST 800-34 and ISO 22301 certification requirements.
- Technical skills including proficiency in business process analysis, incident response frameworks, and crisis communications.
- Able to present and facilitate disaster recovery training sessions with colleagues, including senior management.
- Experience with recoverability in AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Effective analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience in recognizing and managing confidential/sensitive information.
- Confidence working as a member of a global team as well as independently.
