About our property:

What you will have an opportunity to do:

Looking for energetic, organized, and efficient professional to join our team! This is a seasonal club with peak period between November through April. Shifts will be mostly mornings and afternoon to support breakfast and lunch traffic demands. There will be some evenings for private events or club dining.

Role: We seek a professional and organized Line Cook to prepare food to the Executive Chef’s specifications and set up stations for daily service. The Line Cook will work with other team members in the kitchen to execute signature dishes, assisting the Sous Chef and Executive Chef. Successful candidates will be organized, self-motivated, and have problem-solving abilities.

Duties:

  • Understanding of cooking skills, knife handling, and safety
  • Ability to take direction from the Executive Chef and Sous Chef
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the team
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, consistently, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Set up stocking stations with all necessary supplies consistently
  • Ability to work with speed and efficiency
  • Fortitude to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to correctly and efficiently read incoming tickets/orders

Additional requirements: Able to walk or stand for long periods. Must be able to push, pull, or lift to 30 pounds. Must reach items at varying heights (on shelves, on the ground, etc.)

What are we looking for?

  • Active Food handler’s certification or the ability to get it 
  • Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts
  • Requires strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Have a desire to exceed expectations
  • An energetic personality
