Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is nestled high atop the majestic San Bernardino Mountains at an elevation of 5,174’. This Resort is surrounded by an ocean of Ponderosa Pines and gives guests exclusive access to Lake Arrowhead, a reservoir with a surface area of 780 acres. Lake Arrowhead is the perfect location for outdoor adventure enthusiasts and offers a variety of summertime and wintertime activities including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, water skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ziplining, and more. The resort includes a Bar & Restaurant, Spa & Wellness Center, Outdoor Pool & Lake Beach as well as over 23,000 sq. ft of meeting and events space.Perform facials, make-up applications and waxing services on guests.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

BASIC FUNCTION: The Esthetician is the skin care expert who provides services to clients to improve the look and feel of their skin through skin evaluation and determines which treatments are best and administers the treatments. This position is also responsible for upselling products used in the spa.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

• Provides facial and body treatments for clientele in a consistent manner as directed by the Spa of the Pines protocols.
• Designs specific sessions based on client consultation to determine the best treatment to meet client needs.
• Refers clients to physicians and other healthcare professionals for more advanced treatments.
• Creates memorable guest/client experience through professional, friendly, and helpful attitude.
• Must maintain current clientele while continuing to build new clientele.
• Ensure outstanding service through upholding spa flow of greeting the guest, consultation, treatment and closing.
• Recommends products for home use and suggests other beneficial treatments offered in the spa.
• Begins and ends all treatments on time.
• Ensures work areas are clean and equipment is disinfected according to procedures.
• Assesses contraindications of guest that may prevent service from taking place.
• Works with guest to resolve issues and escalates when needed to supervisor or manager.
• Maintains current on all licensure and insurance.
• Create and maintain guest files according to procedures.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions as determined by the supervisor based upon the requirements of the hotel.

 

• Respond to and complete any reasonable task assigned by leadership.
• Attend necessary meetings, including department meetings.
• Any other duties as assigned.
